These observations chart the ongoing regeneration of London’s King’s Cross – an urban landscape where the idealised, orderly view of the world presented in the artists’ impressions offers a stark contrast to the environment being redeveloped – a scruffy, down-at-heel location littered with the relics of its industrial past where real people go about their business and where nature has its own agenda. The work has been undertaken for the London Villages Project, organised by London Independent Photography.
